In order to reduce noise, in the design, the number of impeller blades and guide vanes should match each other to avoid resonance, and the reasonable radial clearance between impeller, guide vane and volute should be controlled. If these factors are not handled well, noise will also occur. Reduce the noise source from the structure and hydraulic design, which ensures the superiority of congenital control of sound source.

2. Installation and operation shall be reasonable

The installation procedure shall be strictly followed to prevent sound source. Pay attention to emptying, ensure the allowable suction height or the necessary NPSH, and control the minimum flow of the pump to avoid overload flow operation.

3. Add protective measures

During installation, the anti vibration gasket shall be placed at the supporting part of the pipe support, and the sound insulation cover can be set around the pump and motor. The sound insulation cover adopts sound insulation materials, which is relatively simple and effective.

4. Pulseless silencer

A double-layer cylindrical pulsation free muffler has been made abroad, which has two types: expansion type and phase mutual interference type. It is the shape of this pulsation free muffler. After installing the non pulsating muffler in the device, obvious effect has been obtained. The frequency noise generated by the pump pressure pulse is almost completely attenuated due to the installation of a non pulsating muffler.
