1. The Submersible Pump should be installed in a solid basket before being put into the water. A solid protective fence can also be set around the pump in the water. The pump shall be upright in the water, and the water depth shall not be less than 0.5m. It shall not be used in the water containing silt.

2. When the submersible pump is put into or lifted out of the water, the power supply shall be cut off first, and it is strictly prohibited to pull the cable or outlet pipe.

3. The submersible pump shall be equipped with protective neutral connection or leakage protection device. During operation, no person or animal is allowed to enter the water surface within 30m around the pump.

4. The inspection items before startup shall meet the following requirements:

a. The water pipe is firmly tied.

b. Screw down the plugs for air release, water drainage and oil filling.

c. The impeller and water inlet section are free of debris.

d. The cable insulation is good.

5. After the power supply is connected, the test run shall be conducted first, and the rotation direction shall be checked and confirmed to be correct. The operation time outside the water shall not exceed 5 hours.

6. The water level change shall be observed frequently. The distance from the impeller center to the horizontal shall be 0.5~3.0m. The pump body shall not be trapped in sludge or exposed to the water surface. The cable shall not rub against the shaft wall and pool wall.

7. For a new pump or a new seal ring, after 50 hours of use, the open water seal plug should be screwed to check the leakage of water and oil. When the leakage exceeds 5ml, a 0.2MPa air pressure test shall be carried out to find out the cause and eliminate it. In the future, it shall be checked once a month. When the leakage does not exceed 25ml, it can continue to be used. Replace with the specified lubricating oil after inspection.

8. The repaired oil immersed submersible pump shall undergo a 0.2MPa air pressure test to check that there is no leakage at all parts, and then add lubricating oil into the upper and lower housings.

9. When the temperature drops below 0 ℃, after the operation is stopped, the submersible pump shall be lifted out of the water and dried and stored indoors.

10. The insulation resistance of motor stator winding shall be measured once a week, and its value shall not drop.
